We are thrilled to announce that the International Conference on Nanofluidics and Nanoporous Membranes 2027 will be hosted in the vibrant city of Macao SAR from May 31– June 3, 2027. Nanofluidics — the study and application of fluid transport in and around nanoscale confinements  — and nanoporous membrane science — the design and engineering of selective, high-performance membranes with precisely controlled pore architectures — have each emerged as vibrant, interdisciplinary fields with transformative applications in water purification, energy harvesting and storage, molecular separations, drug delivery, sensing, and environmental sustainability. Despite sharing deep scientific roots and a common language of nanoscale transport, these two communities have largely evolved in parallel, with limited opportunities for sustained cross-disciplinary exchange. By bringing these communities together within a single forum, the NanoFluidics and Nanoporous Membranes Conference (NanoFluMe) aims to bridge this gap, spark new cross-disciplinary dialogue, accelerate the translation of fundamental discoveries into practical technologies, and build lasting collaborations among researchers from academia, national laboratories, and industry. This small, focused GRC-style conference provides an intimate and collegial setting where participants are encouraged to present their most cutting-edge and forward-looking work, share unpublished results, and engage in the kind of in-depth scientific exchange that larger venues rarely allow.
